YEDO GIBSON | ULRICH MITZLAFF

YEDO GIBSON and ULRICH MITZLAFF appear for the first time in a duo, although they have collaborated on various projects and other contexts. Instant compositions find their sonic expressions at the moment of sonic imagination. Constant interaction can be seen as a "heartfelt conversation" between two musicians with the full range of possible affirmations of their instruments, understood as open sound sources. Experimental elements created through extended techniques, found in contemporary scholarly music and other approaches from free jazz and open improvisation, are the basis of a discourse that lives from the fascination of abstraction and the reinterpretation of musical constellations.
