RESEO International Conference
The RESEO International Conference,0-3: Opera, Music and Dance for the Early Years, in which Miso Music Portugal is partner and host, will be taking place between May 14 and 16 at three Lisbon venues: São Carlos National Theatre (May 14), Belém Arts Centre (May 16) and O'culto da Ajuda (May 16). The aim of this event is to explore, exchange and promote quality music performances, which have an impact on the youngest, their families, as well as among artists and entities connected with culture.
The cultural activities for children gain more and more importance throughout Europe, promoting the interest for new artistic forms not only among the youngest but also their families. Breaking the barriers between various art forms, these activities join voice, music and movement. This was one of the reasons for the partnership between RESEO and Miso Music Portugal, association focused on experimentation and exploration of new artistic approaches, also in the context of artistic creation for children.
The conference begins on May 14 at 1h00 pm at the São Carlos National Theatre, passing through the Belém Arts Centre on May 15 where the programme will include two Sound Told Fairy Tales by Miso Music Portugal's Electroacoustic Theatre, and having its conclusion on May 16 at O'culto da Ajuda. In this sense, additionally to the presentations by the participants from various countries, the programme of the RESEO Conference's last day will include a performance by the Lisbon University Children and Youth Choir, From Traditional to Contemporary, as well as, at night at 8h00 pm, the performance of the opera Salt Itinerary by the Miso Ensemble.
