The European Composers Forum is proud to present and invite you to the pilot of ARTMUSFAIR - the new Europeanwide music creators‚ convention dedicated to the source of contemporary classical & art music. Launching for the first time this year in Helsinki, October 2nd-4th 2008, ARTMUSFAIR addresses all European composers as well as all music professionals, performers and musicians, music promoters, agents and managers, publishers, musicologists, students, and music journalists from across Europe who are actively engaging in the field of contemporary music of all styles.

Music Omi International Music Residency Program - summer 2008

Music Omi International Music Residency Program is now accepting applications for the summer 2008 session: July 24 through August 10 (NYC concert August 11). Performing composers, improvising musicians, and sound artists from ALL musical disciplines and backgrounds who wish to take part in a collaborative music-making residency are encouraged to apply. No application fee. Full room and board will be provided, but residents must provide their own travel. The beautiful Omi campus is located in upstate New York. Guest Mentor: Katie Down.
Deadline for applications: February 1, 2008 (postmarked)
